It was a dark hour within the city...
But something seemed to happen. What sounded like a clap of great thunder boomed over Tel Vinrae, followed by a tendril of lightning that struck the Clocktower in Golden Way. It toppled the great landmark, sending a spray of cogs and gears and stone to the ground.
And then the ground rumbled - temors within the earthen heart of the city that shook the masses left alive and leveled many of the beauties around the city. Another rumble of thunder and there was silence to be heard.
Those thought to be dying rose from their beds and stepped outside - their ashen eyes turning up towards the heavens. The clouds parted slowly to reveal the heavens above - thousands of stars littering the night sky. Such a great storm that lacked rain...
When the smoke cleared from the rubble that left Deadman's Knot in shambles, a vast meteor was found where the fountain once was, vacant. Stranger even still, the Doors of Madness in the Darkwood Sanctum were said to be wrenched wide open, broken on their bronze tracks.
What had happened here? None could clearly say. One thing though, was certain...
Tel Vinrae was cured of the blight that had befallen her.
Great changes take place now within the city:
The ports are reopened once again - allowing ships to dock and trades to be transported, and furthermore lifting the raised prices on goods.
The Eladrin populace has been left in devastating numbers - the Eladrin race has been now marked a Endangered. (1:40 Eladrin to Non-Eladrin ratio). It's rumoured that some of the noble houses have become completely extinct. Nima Solodael Lash`Rael has become the head of her House, though she is the only survivor. The Council of Eleven, left vacant, has made her the Ambassador for the Eladrin people on the Council of Baraldamere.
The Soulless have been retired from the streets, in turn working to protect the Silver Palace and particular people. In turn, a job employment opportunity has been made: Tel Vinrae is now hiring City Guards. The death of 5/8 the city populace has made many homes and businesses completely vacant, as well as offering many chances of employment elsewhere.
Many Humans and Dwarves as well as able Eladrin have begun repairing the homes and streets, however many of these shoppes remain closed, likely Eladrin-run.
Restaurants begin to open, along with the Fiery Lion. Nombra has been seen in the commons with other Drow servants, though it's rumoured she has been rendered blind from the Ashening.
