Vampiric
A Vampiric weapon is imbued with the power to steal life from it's wielder's target, and bestow it upon the wielder. It deals an extra 1d6 damage to living targets, and transfers the damage dealt as HP to the wielder. Only creatures subject to critical hits may be targetted by the effect. Constructs, Oozes, and undead are immune. The wielder cannot receive extra hp above his maximum value; thus a Vampiric weapon's life stealing attack only functions if the wielder is wounded. Only melee weapons may have the Vampiric enchantment.
Moderate Necromancy [evil]; CL 7th; Craft Magic Arms and Armor, Vampiric Grasp, Creator must be Evil; Price +2 bonus.
