Homebrew tactical feat based on real life medieval sword tactics that allows melee characters who have specialized in swords to use their weapon more flexibly.

Total Use
[Tactical]
You have learned to use every part of your sword in battle.
Prerequisite
Weapon Focus [Any Sword], Weapon Specialization [Any Sword], BAB +6
Benefit
This feat grants three maneuvers that can be used when using a sword for which you have both weapon focus and weapon specialization.
Pommel Strike: When wearing gauntlets, you can strike a target with the pommel of your sword, dealing bludgeoning damage instead of it's normal piercing of slashing profile. The strike deals damage and has identical critical range and multipliers identical to a light mace of your size category. You may also choose to deal nonlethal damage when performing a pommel strike. This maneuver cannot be performed while mounted. Your offhand must be free to use this maneuver. All feats pertaining to your chosen weapon apply, even while using this option.
Half Handing: When wearing gauntlets, you may grip a sword that normally deals slashing damage with one hand on the hilt, and another along the length of the blade, and use it to deliver attacks that deal piercing damage. These attacks deal damage and have critical range and multipliers identical to a short spear of your size category. This maneuver cannot be performed while
mounted. All feats pertaining to your chosen weapon apply, even while using this option.
Forced Slice: When wearing gauntlets, you may grip a sword that normally deals piercing damage with one hand on the hilt, and another along one side of the blade, and use it to force vicious, sawing hacks across your opponent. These attacks deal damage and have critical range and multipliers identical to a dagger of your size category, except the critical range is 20. This maneuver cannot be performed while mounted. All feats pertaining to your chosen weapon apply, even while using this option.
