Spellthief follows the rules found in the Complete Adventurer. For more information, please refer to D&D Tools. Starting Gold: 160gp. A Spellthief must be unlawful in alignment. To play this class, a player must write a build & background approval and submit it to the DM Team prior to Sanction.Spellthieves use skill and arcane magic to drain the abilities of their opponents and turn their foes' own powers against them. Because they have such a wide variety of abilities, spellthieves can adapt themselves to overcome nearly any challenge, but they have neither the overpowering arcane might of wizards nor the brute force of fighters. They excel at using misdirection and deception to overcome seemingly stronger opponents. They are greatly disliked within Mileria and Tel Vinrae, especially by those whom they steal the powers from, which if caught, can lead to prosecution. However, despite their unlawful ways, Spellthieves are often hired as spies by the Imperial Empire, Tel Vinrae and the various groups and factions within.
