Carcaryn Family
Race: Halfling
Speciality: General Trade
The Carcaryn are a Halfling family that were once part of the Empire, from Knavesmire. They are a prosperous family - and the only halflings to hold a seat on the Council of Baraldamere. Extravagant and friendly, they are always looking to make a few extra coins on a sale and are thought to know the workings of Tel Vinrae as well as the Eladrin. Even having such knowledge, they are thought to be in close alliance with the Empire.
They do not have a suite in the Silver Palace as most of the other nobles do - despite their wealth, they are considered merchants. However, they have a grandhouse in the Gentile District.
House Head: Iav Carcaryn; Wife: Neris Carcaryn
Tramell Family
Race: Human (Omicron)
Speciality: Special Goods
The Tramells are native to Helksvenmarre and are well-known to be masters of trade - specializing in rare goods and the location of services. They've founded their wealth on the exploitation of other merchants. Though not necessarily known for their kindness, they are well-loved by the rebels and for their open support of the Brothers of Barald - but to this day they still deny funding the rebel troops. Though they do not have seat on the Council of Baraldamere, they keep close alliance with families and houses that do...
House Head: Rickos Tramell; Wife: Elina Tramell
Ironkeeper Family
Race: Dwarf
Speciality: Weapons, Armors, and Materials
Clan Ironkeeper is paradox, simultaneously viewed by their kin as traitorous pariahs and clever paragons by there kin. The entire family left Kemduhrm before the betrayal (although according to rumor not before making a tidy profit on siege equipment) and settled in the great city of Tel Vinrae. They deal mainly in arms and armor, although also possess one of largest stocks of rare materials in Meleria, and have a reputation of being shrewd and cunning in their dealings. They have no seat on the Council of Baraldamere but tend to profit from the houses that do.
