Eladrin noble houses are families that are believed to be in existence for thousands of years prior to the founding of even Tel Vinrae. These houses sit council upon the Delegation of Baraldamere. Despite living within the Silver Palace, each Eladrin family keeps a residence within the Gentile District as well. Please note: In order to play a noble from the following families, your character must their first level set as the Aristocrat NPC Class.
"Hin" is title for Mister.
"Hina" is title for Miss or Missus.
"Nim" is the title for Lord.
"Nima" is the title for Lady.
"Cnim" is the title for High Lord (Head of House, Council Member).
"Cnima" is the title for High Lady (Head of House, Council Member).

House Araatra is best known for their greenhouses and gardens that can be found dappled throughout the city and the Darkwood Sanctum. Appreciating beauty within its most natural form, they tend to be home to some of the leading herbalists within Meliria.

Motto: "Purity is Strength, Strength is Truth."
High House Udoian is one of the more militant-minded families, known for their flourishing sworsmanship and strict racialist ideals. They believe, ultimately, that Tel Vinrae is for the Eladrin and do not welcome outside influences. They tend to see the Outlanders as a blight more than anything else, which often puts them at odds with High House Holaerise who have a more tolerant view of the city's swelling population.
Crest: Black black glaives, crossed over each other, on a field of yellow.
Motto: “Master oneself to master one's world.”
High House Marnys is one of the younger high houses and, like Udoian and Holaeries, have a more militant leaning. They do not, however, share either houses' ideal that martial mastery is means to an end. Instead, they believe that their skill as a means to perfect themselves and see combat as way to express one's true self.. They are patrons to the Charred Sigil and the Grand Stadium.

High House Diarath is an almost priestly in their demeanor and unlike their peers in High House Neris-Morel, who strive towards personal enlightenment, these philosophers tend to have a more communal view of revelation. Because of this, they are patrons of the Academy and have been known to blend their lines with 'commonborn' Eladrin. They often hold great, open debates on discussion of the mysteries of the cosmos and even make an active attempt to try to evangelize and sway others to their more solidified view of the cosmic truth. They have a very xenophobic view and are weary about the changes coming to the city of Tel Vinrae.

High House Xyrvyre is fascinated with the advancements of modern technology, especially clockworks and similar innovations. They are the original creators of the Soulless and produce new variants for various purposes that range from military uses to more mundane things. According to some of the rumors, they are said to be working on a new marvel that will revolutionize the way that Meleria views travel and transportation. The scions of the House are silent on the matter and refuse to speak on it, claiming that it will be ready when it is ready.

The men and women of House Vicavyr appropriate beauty over all things, particularly physical beauty. They are very involved in fashion, always on the cutting edge of new styles, and perhaps more tolerant of non-eladrin than other houses especially if they show creativity. They are known for hosting grand balls and masquerades, always trying to outdo themselves (and others) with each new event. Some call them them vain but they simply believe that beauty is essential to enjoying life.

High House Irieatris are the scholars of the Eladrin people. To them, the pursuit of knowledge is the supreme goal of existence, although they do not believe that it is something that should be shared with the masses. To the sons and daughters of the ancient clan, true knowledge is something that only the elite should possess. They are highly secretive and aloof, even by Eladrin standards, and are said to be masters of the arcane.

High House Carerysi are patrons to the arts. Whether it is music, theater, sculpture or paintings they are lovers of eternal beauty. In fact, their grandhouse in the Gentile District is open to the general public and serves more as a museum than a home. Their scions are known for paying obscene amounts of coin for something they see as important and have even made the rare non-Eladrin very wealthy if they deemed one of their creations worthy. Such things are very rare, as their standards are high and usually biased towards their own people.

High House Holaeris is another militant house, specializing in mounted combat. By and large, the consider themselves chivalric in demeanor. They consider it their sacred duty to protect all who call Tel Vinrae their home; including the many refugees and non-Eladrin. There are some that critique the house's "altruism" and claim that its not spurred on by genuine compassion but hubris and the vain desire to protect "lesser races" from themselves, although the family steadfastly denies such accusations.

High House Neris-Morel is another scholarly family, although their pursuit of knowledge is more for its own sake than to simply possess an understanding. They believe that by investigating the beauty of the cosmos they can reach a sort of enlightenment to which they can find peace of self and often perform esoteric rituals to brings themselves closer to this state of perfection. Because of their almost gnostic worldview, they are seen as reclusive even by Eladrin standards.

Thought to be on the oldest house, Lash-Ra`el is merged house dedicated to preserving the history of Mileria as well as the Eladrin. They are closely allied with the Academy of Philosophies are considered to be knowledgable on all cultural history that influences the continent. Though they hold seats in both the Acaedemy of Philosophies and the Council of Baraldamere.
