Hello Players,
After careful consideration, the DM Team on Tel Vinrae has decided that each player will be allowed one (1) free Rebuild of a single character. This was decided since we recently allowed retraining / rebuilding on the chat at cost and many players have characters that are higher in levels which could use a re-tooling.
Players are allowed only the 1 rebuild which must maintain the following guidelines:
1) Players can change stats to a minor degree. But major stat changes will not be allowed (You cannot change your 18 dexterity rogue human to a 18 strength human fighter)
2) No racial changes will be allowed.
3) Flaws and Traits cannot be changed.
4) Character concepts must be maintained. A sorcerer/fighter changing to wizard/fighter is acceptable. A barbarian/druid changing to sorcerer/bard doesn't make a lot of sense. Naturally, this is defendable and the DM team will work with you to find ways to make your new build work, as long as such is reasonable.
5) Gear will not be modified during the change without using standard buy/sell rules (Changing your fighter from a great sword wielding two-hander to a more dextrous dual-weapon fighter does not mean you get to exchange the MW Greatsword for a MW Longsword/Shortsword. It does however, mean you can sell the Greatsword normally and purchase the Longsword/Shortsword combo)
6) HP: Characters that took half HP will gain or will lose any HP that would equate to 1/2 their new classes (if their class changed). Characters that ROLLED Hp will only have that amount change if the amount of HP rolled was HIGHER than the new class allows. The amount of HP gained will be changed to maximum for the new class.
Example: You originally build your character as a fighter 4, dual weapon specialist. You've played them often as a more dextrous character and decide that you want to change them to rogue 3 / fighter 1. You took average HP at level 2 for 5, and then rolled HP each other level up and rolled 10, 3. You also have the 10 hp from first level fighter.
You decide to change your first three levels to rogue. Your first level HP is reduced from 10 to 6. Your second level HP was 1/2, so it reduces from 5 to 3. Your third level hp is reduced from 10 to 6 - because you cannot roll a 10 on a d6, so you receive maximum for that level. Your final level, the fighter level you are keeping, remains a 3. So your total HP is reduced from 28 to 18.
Submit your rebuilds in full detail to the sheetwork board or via FPM to a DM as follows:
