Hopefully, with the reconciliation of Sejal and Devon, Saraswati is free again to continue her investigations. A new one that has piqued her curiosity is the strange case of the nine year old ex-slave with the double snake tattoo. It was curious that, before the party had raided the warehouse that had the slaves in it, someone had approached the party, warned them of the "two headed snake" then left. This was mostly ignored until Sara saw the two headed cobra tattoo on the little girl's ankle.
The little girl only spoke Jihva, and she told Sara and Adira that there was a man with red hair, and that she had got the tattoo at a market under the instructions of a man, and it still hurt. So Sara went to try and soothe the pain but, when she touched it, the 'tattoo' sprung to life and attempted to kill the girl. If it wasn't for Bal'jek it would have succeeded.
So Sara wants to know, what's the story with these tattoos, who was the mystery woman, where did the little girl come from (she had a mother) and is their a link to the slavers who wrecked Sara's home village.
Anyone want to help?

XIII would lend his aid to the investigation, seeking out Saraswati as soon as word reached him of this rumored venture

The Orcish priest of the Rebel would be looking into this as well... for somehow the snake mark had become attached to him. Word would get out about what he was looking for, and the significance of it... and why it's attached to him without it causing that same amount of suffering.
...of course, he is very blunt about it all. And not really having researching skills of his own... he may need some help...

In a rather seedy general shop near The Dockyard called Skipper's Tradepost (which is smelled like salted cod and stagnant brine), a rough-looking older gent leaned against the counter with a frown, Omicron fellow with pat over his eye and wispy grey hair that was long and scraggy - balding on the top.
"Ah. Well, there was a lass tha' came in here 'bout a week ago. Bought this book from me on the occult. Can't say I remember what the name of it was exactly - only had it on my shelf fer a few days after I got it appraised - came in off a boat from Haung Cao, written in tha' scratchin's too. The lass though, she was tallish, Eladrin I'm thinkin' - a couple of them Chen Kai with her, but couldn't tell them apart that well, yanno how them folk can be, aye? Lady had the weirdest blue eyes I've ever seen an' real tan skin - a blonde, I think. Pretty thing. Anyway, she bought the book fer Ten Plats, was only charging half that fer it. Nice enough missy - anyway, she had a bangle like the tattoo you're talkin' about, but it went around her arm, not black though. Gold, I reckon with ruby eyes. Couldn't fergit somefin like tha', real exotic like beaut with fancy jewels to match it..."
About the strange woman that had been in the fullplate, not much information can be found about - not even a name. However, when describing her to a few people around Deadman's Knot, they were told they sounded like they were describing the statue that was inside the chapel of the Eternal Watch. Sounded a lot like the icon of the faith, at least to these folk.

So Sara sets out for the chapel of the Eternal Watch to examine the statue. Also keeps an eye open for the Eladrin described by the owner of the Skipper's Tradepost. She may also see if the Skipper's Tradepost has any other interesting books on the occult, magic and the fae.

-In his cold weather outfit of hides and furs, the orc known as Bal'jek makes his way to the chapel yet again... he had stayed there once... and he wanted answers-
