Tel Vinrae. Some call in the City of Wonder and Spender. Others call it the City of Shadows and Lies. Either way, it was a place where many things never happened even when they did. In fact, even shortly after these events happen people seem to lack any recollection of them. Was this such an event?
I mean, no matter how many people were in the Golden Way, it was very unlikely that anyone saw a strange Eladrin woman that seemed confused as to why everything around her was different and there was no way that this woman was a ghost. There were no such thing as ghosts, for one. Everyone knew that. And even if there was, there would be no such thing as Eladrin ghosts.
Just like an Akosh woman didn't make the mistake of trying to grab the ghost woman, only to have her go throw her through the air like a ragdoll, splattering blood on the street. Then there was no way the ghost threw the woman across the Way only to slam into the banister in the Fiery Lion. Even if that did happen (which it didn't) there was no way that the said woman could have gotten back up. Because if something like that happened, the woman would have likely been impale and no one could have gotten up after that.
Besides. That story makes no sense. Why would an Akosh woman chase after an Eladrin ghost, anyway? She wouldn't. Especially since there's not such thing as ghosts, especially Eladrin ghosts.

Spica had been heard going on about timeslips, warps in the space/time continuum, and even a weakening of the boundaries between the Prime and the Ethereal Planes - but who knows how much the young arcanist had to drink ... she was definately seen drinking quite a bit from the punch bowl - and who knows what had been put in that.

Such tales would be spun on All Hallow's Eve though - of ghostly apparitions that scream sounds of terror and send people running, and mysteriously broken bannisters, damaged property, floating objects. Yes, it was that time of the year for such tales, so was it really something that couldn't be said? (Xp Given)
