Left pinned to the bulletin board, hidden behind some notices for adventurers, was a sheet of fine parchment with two stanzas of what seemed to be the beginning of a much large poem. They were written in Elven, with translations offered in Velithri.
And as the flames rose to great height
Chasing away the darkness of night Eruadan's ghost rose from his graveTo take from the rich what the poor gaveHe haunted those who lost their touchAnd stole from those who took too muchFor some forgot that there was a price to payFor living their lives their own wayThe piece of parchment was unsigned. But was is origin of the piece? Was it the work of someone who loved the romantic spirit of the noble outlaw? Was it meant for public eyes? Was it deliberately obscured among the various calls for mercenaries? Perhaps time will tell.
