A Bounty on a Beast

Farmers around Tel`Vinrae have placed a bounty upon some strange insect-like creature or another that has been killing their livestock. . .and even managed to assault a local Imperial citizen, Lorenso Gaius, and damage an antique crossbow of his, devouring the magic from it.
They warn potential hunters that the creature is stealthy, resilient, and cunning; more than a simple beast.
The Farmers have pooled their funds, and offer a reward of 50 GP for this creature's death. Upon hearing of it, the Academy of Philosophies has given notice that they will pay 300 GP to any who can capture it alive, and bring it safely to the Academy.
