Perhaps the oldest form of organized religion, druidism is the worship of nature. While the old ways are now taboo, the common folk have a reluctant respect for the practitioners of the ancient religion; their divine blessings come from same earth that sustains all living things and are not regulated by the fickle whims of the gods. This is tempered, of course, by genuine fear. Most do not believe anyone should have any sort of master of powers so old and so primal.
The druidic religion is broken into various sects, each with their own teachings and ideologies. There are solitary practitioners, as well. In a bygone era, there was more structure to the belief system, and a unity between the different philosophies, but with the dominance of new religions the old ways are no longer possible. The only faith wide tradition that remains from the old days is the annual Grand Moot where all the region practitioners in secret places to perform old rituals and discuss agendas important to the various sects.
While druidism isn't illegal in Tel Vinrae, its adherents are persecuted. Out of fear, some businesses refuse to do business with druids and those that do often raise their prices. Most practitioners go to lengths to publicly hide their faith and those who are part of adventuring or mercenary companies often allow their peers to deal with their contractors to avoid any unnecessary drama.
