The Dockyard tends to be a lively place, even at night, with frequent traffic both by foot and ship. A rougher district, fist fights are not entirely uncommon although actual bloodshed and death are rare. That being said, sailors don't exactly have a reputation for being polite company and the locals that frequent the area tend to fit right in with the seafaring sort.
The area have various piers, most of them privately owned, and old builds that once might have had a great deal of colored but were long faded. The district is fairly clean, however, and at least during the day its frequently patrolled. Nighttime can be dangerous to outsiders, although more so to their purses than anything else.
