Name: The Slaughterer
Portfolio: Fear, Slaughter, Violence, Warfare
Alignment: Chaotic Evil
Domains: Chaos, Evil, Destruction, War
Holy Symbol: A bloodied, six-fingered hand.
Favored Weapon: Great Axe
Description: The Slaughterer is most commonly depicted as a massive orc, covered with scars and drenched in gore with six-fingers on each hand. However, like most of the entities that orcs worship its exact presentation depends largely on the tribe in question; other historical interpretations include a wolf-headed humanoid or simply blood itself.
Overview of Faith: The Slaughterer is the chief entity of the orcs and its dominance in their culture ensures the dark reputation its racial followers have with the other mortal races. Its tenets are simple; violence is ecstasy, eternal, and the only thing true in the world. All living things kill and those that can kill the most can claim whatever they wish; the spoils of war, women, even leadership and glory. In orc culture, its clergy is feared and seen as the voice of their people – although the turn about rate for the position tends to be rather high.
